The Resolution Hotel

The Resolution Hotel can be found in the very heart of the historical town of Whitby.

Built in 1779, it was once described as "the most handsome house in Whitby". It has gone through many changes, originally known as Flowergate House, later turned into the Crown Hotel and then a Working Men's Club. It finally went through a £2 million transformation in 2002.

The Hotel aims to cater for your every need, whilst providing excellent value for money.

With 2 bars, a Large Restaurant, 21 fully en-suite bedrooms and a function room with a capacity to cater for 150 people, The Resolution Hotel will certainly be able to meet your every need.

After a recent change of ownership in September 2007, the Resolution is starting a new phase in its life.

The Entertainment is becoming more varied and exciting, as the Hotel opens its doors to all types of performers.

The Food Menu emphasises quality and value for money, with a wide selection of home cooked meals, with many of the ingredients being locally sourced.
